About Us Ediphi is at the forefront of cloud-based estimating and preconstruction solutions, aiming to streamline the preconstruction process, allowing projects to begin swiftly and estimators to work with confidence. Our journey started with Michael Navarro, a veteran in estimating, who recognized the need for a better solution than traditional spreadsheets. He partnered with Dustin DeVan, the founder of BuildingConnected, to establish Ediphi in 2023, backed by a $12M Series A funding led by Norwest Venture Partners along with Suffolk Technologies. We are rapidly evolving as a SaaS platform for General Contractors nationwide.

As a Lead Frontend Software Engineer, you will work with a cooperative, high-impact feature team using a Trifecta model that emphasizes close collaboration with Product Managers and Designers. You will be empowered to mentor fellow engineers, foster collaboration, and drive meaningful outcomes in our dynamic startup culture. Your focus will be on our core estimating product, which is a fintech application.

What You Will Do
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers and product managers, to create and implement comprehensive solutions.
  • Lead technical discussions, valuing diverse viewpoints to enhance critical decision-making that propels product development.
  • Write clean, maintainable code that adheres to best practices, ensuring documentation is clear and thorough.
  • Mentor fellow engineers, sharing your expertise and promoting the adoption of React best practices.
  • Engage in code reviews, providing and accepting constructive feedback to nurture a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to a technical excellence culture through automation, runtime instrumentation, and partnership with product and QA.
What You Will Need
  • 8+ years of experience in frontend or fullstack development with a frontend emphasis.
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for balancing accuracy with speed, where reliability is key.
  • Expertise in React and Typescript.
  • Empathetic understanding of user experience and product quality.
  • Experience in agile, team-oriented environments.
  • A proven ability to thrive in a remote-first workplace.
Nice to Have
  • Familiarity with backend technologies such as Node.js, Postgres, and AWS.
  • Experience with Redux, Tanstack Query, or similar data libraries.
