As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in an aero and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. Your visible presence and routine patrols will support a welcoming atmosphere, while your strong communication and customer service skills will enhance the experience for all on site. What You'll Do

+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.

+ Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns encountered during patrols.

+ Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and/or employees while maintaining a visible presence.

+ Follow all site-specific protocols and instructions provided by Allied Universal and the client site.

+ Assist in controlling access to restricted areas as required by site policies.

+ Complete required documentation and reports regarding incidents, patrols, and daily activities.

Minimum Requirements

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Alarm panel experience is preferred.

+ A valid guard card or license is preferred.

+ Access control or badge experience is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
