What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Act as a liaison between the employer, customers, and patients
• Resolve routine customer requests and recalculations via inbound and outbound calls or email
• Provide additional customer education and information as needed
• Notify clients of test results in a timely and accurate manner
• Perform administrative support for medical record management and ensure HIPAA compliance

What is Required (Qualifications)

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
• Previous experience in a customer service role
• Experience working in a contact center or call center environment is preferred
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills required, including knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with excellent ability to listen and respond

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Associates or Bachelors degree is highly preferred
• Prior healthcare industry experience, such as in a physician's office or hospital
• Experience with Salesforce.com and/or Laboratory Information Systems
• Excellent multitasking abilities and flexibility to manage changing priorities
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred
