Fennemore is looking for a full-time Legal Administrative Assistant to join our Santa Barbara, California office. In this vital, on-site role, you'll support attorneys within our Trusts, Estates, and Wealth Preservation practice while also playing a key part in keeping our boutique office running smoothly.

This position offers a blend of traditional legal administrative support and hands-on office coordination, giving you the opportunity to contribute meaningfully across multiple areas. What You'll Do:

  • Provide administrative and legal support to attorneys in the Trusts & Estates practice, including document preparation, calendar management, and filing.
  • Coordinate and manage daily office operations, including supplies, vendors, visitors, and facilities requests.
  • Assist with time entry, billing support, and client communication.
  • Proactively identify and solve problems to keep the office and legal matters moving forward.
  • Help create a welcoming, professional environment for colleagues and clients alike.
What You'll Bring:
  • Prior experience in a legal administrative or executive support role; Trusts & Estates experience is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A flexible mindset and positive approach to problem-solving.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint), Docusign, Adobe/Kofax; experience with iManage and Intapp a plus.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Salary: $85,000-$95,000/year
