At the El Capitan Canyon Market, you will work with our team in a fast-paced service environment helping to facilitate an amazing stay for our guests.

Job Summary:

As a Server/Cashier, you will report to our Assistant General Manager. You will work together to...

1. Ensure that all food orders from customers are accurate and served in a timely manner.
2. Recommend meals to customers based on the menu and specials
3. Work closely with the Head Chef and Store Supervisor to immediately address all customer concerns and create a pleasant experience
4. Confirm orders with the cooks whenever a clarification is requested
5. Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging services
6. Follow cash handling and POS procedures
7. Follow responsible alcohol service
8. Assist in organizing, restocking and receiving merchandise for the retail department.
9. Follow departmental policies and procedures
10. Follow all safety and sanitation policies
11. Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

1. High school degree or equivalent; or relevant work experience
2. Meet minimum age requirement of jurisdiction.
3. A positive attitude and ability work well under pressure.
4. Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment and deliver orders in a timely manner.
5. Previous point of sale system experience is a plus.
6. Must have excellent communication and organizational skills.
7. Strong interpersonal skills in working with high-profile clients.
8. Highly responsible & reliable.
9. Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
10. Flexible to work AM/PM shifts, weekends and holidays.
11. Eager to learn and grow.
