Inventory Control Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to manage and maintain inventory accuracy and ensure a seamless workflow within our organization. The ideal candidate will handle returned products, prepare materials for repair orders, and perform physical inventories, all while maintaining compliance with safety procedures and regulations.

Responsibilities
  • Receive and process returned products in the ERP system, determining appropriate actions.
  • Follow manufacturing best practices to maintain inventory accuracy and ensure proper material movement.
  • Prepare, issue, and kit materials based on Repair Work Order Pick List requirements.
  • Ensure continuous workflow and adherence to the repair schedule.
  • Generate product packaging and component labels according to router and BOM.
  • Perform physical inventories and cycle counts as required.
  • Verify that issued materials match the bill of materials required for product manufacturing.
  • Ensure work order documents are complete and accurate.
  • Organize workstation in compliance with area clearance procedures.
  • Log received material in the complaints database.
  • Provide written repair quotes to customers and obtain repair approvals.
  • Monitor vendor repairs, evaluations, and quotes for timely responses.
  • Liaise with internal departments such as Product Surveillance, Quality, Finance, and Logistics.
  • Support ongoing Global Service and Repair projects.
  • Assist with internal/external audits, NCRs, and CAPAs.
  • Observe all blood-borne pathogen and related safety procedures.
Essential Skills
  • Basic knowledge of SAP, FDA, and ISO regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Ability to solve routine problems following established policies.
  • Experience in the medical device industry preferred.
  • Inventory Control field experience preferred.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, multilayered work environment.
  • Experience in an FDA-regulated environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Two years of experience in a related field.
  • Forklift experience is a plus, with willingness to get certified.
  • English proficiency required.
Shift

7:00AM to 3:30PM or 7:30AM to 4:00PM with occasional, non-mandatory overtime on Saturdays.

Job Type & Location

This is a permanent position based out of Santa Barbara, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $41600.00/yr. Eligibility for up to 7.5% annual bonus. Medical, dental, vision paid by Arthrex, dependents up to 50% paid by company.
