Collect, wash, autoclave, and shelve laboratory dishware to ensure cleanliness and readiness for use. Maintain laboratory equipment, supplies, and chemical/hazardous material rooms, ensuring proper organization and safety standards are upheld. Safely remove biohazardous, hazardous, and glass waste in accordance with safety regulations. Perform equipment IQ (Installation Qualification), OQ (Operational Qualification), PQ (Performance Qualification), as well as regular maintenance to ensure optimal performance. Tend to general lab maintenance and repair tasks, ensuring a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Maintain and organize the Tissue Bank and Stained Slide Bank to ensure proper storage and accessibility. Assist with additional tasks as needed to support the labs overall functions. Qualifications. High school diploma or equivalent experience; additional education or certifications in laboratory sciences is a plus.
