Contracts Analyst

Robert Half Legal is partnering with a California County Public Sector client in their Behavioral Wellness Department to source a talented Contracts Analyst for a 90-day short-term contract assignment. This fully remote opportunity involves supporting the Procurement Manager's legal contracting needs by analyzing, drafting, and managing various critical agreements and documents. Key responsibilities include:

• Contract Review and Analysis: Analyze and review several amendments, restatements of Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs), Supportive Service Agreements, and property-related contracts.
• Drafting and Amendments: Provide drafting assistance and revisions for agreements to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the Behavioral Wellness Department to meet contractual priorities and deadlines effectively.
• Public Sector Knowledge: Navigate public sector protocols and processes to ensure adherence to compliance standards while working with governmental departments.
• Request for Proposals (RFP) Support: Assist with RFPs from the client-side, if applicable, ensuring documentation meets legal and procedural requirements.

Requirements qualifications include:

• Must have a Juris Doctorate (JD).
• Proven experience analyzing contracts, amendments, MOUs, and property agreements (preferably in the public sector).
• Public sector experience is a plus if candidates have a background working within governmental, county, or public sector entities.
• RFP experience: Familiarity with client or vendor-side RFP processes is strongly desirable.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities within tight deadlines.

Work environment:

• Fully remote position.
• Candidates must reside within the Pacific Standard Time (PST) or Mountain Standard Time (MST) zones to ensure effective collaboration with the client team.
