Sr. Product Marketing Manager, Hardware, eero Marketing

  2025-11-07     Amazon     all cities,CA
Description:

At eero, our mission is to serve as the central nervous system of the home. While we began by revolutionizing home WiFi, we aim to create comprehensive solutions that serve both wireless and wired connectivity needs for customers and businesses across the globe. Our cross‑functional team, spanning hardware, software, and manufacturing, develops advanced Ethernet switching and gateway products, alongside state‑of‑the‑art security features, to complement our award‑winning mesh WiFi systems. As an Amazon company, we combine the best of startup culture with the resources and stability of one of the world's leading technology companies. Our team builds products that customers love – from mesh routers to high‑performance wired networking devices – and we're looking for you to join us in shaping the future of the connected home.

As eero continues to grow, we are building a world‑class marketing organization and seeking a Product Marketing Manager for our core Hardware portfolio. In this role you will develop an overarching marketing strategy, including strategic business planning, understanding TAM, target audiences, market segments, business opportunities, and developing go‑to‑market strategies to serve different customers. You will lead product positioning and messaging, pricing, sales forecasting, research & insights, and provide thought leadership to both the marketing and executive teams at eero. This role is an “end‑to‑end” owner for Product Marketing of eero's hardware devices expected to collaborate with cross‑functional teams in three primary areas: 1) product innovation and development roadmap; 2) lead Go‑To‑Market (GTM) strategies for new core products; 3) oversee the in‑market performance for the products you are responsible for across various customer segments.

At eero, Product Marketing Managers work backwards from their understanding of customer and industry requirements and are able to “connect the dots” between various eero capabilities and services to make sure that we are building and marketing the right portfolio of offerings to meet and exceed the needs of our customers – and that we're able to clearly articulate the value propositions of our capabilities. In this role you will leverage your own experiences of go‑to‑market and product general management to synthesize external and internal data from multiple sources, and work closely with eero Product Managers across numerous hardware, software, and services. You'll help guide feature prioritization, ensure consistency across offerings, and own the development of crisp, highly differentiated, and compelling positioning and messaging at both the individual product and portfolio level.

This is a highly visible role which you will have an outsized impact. You are expected to be a highly experienced product marketer while also demonstrating your business acumen as a business owner for the products you are responsible for. In this role, you will deeply understand our customers (both B2C and B2B), the problems they face, and how eero is uniquely positioned to solve those problems. You're just as comfortable talking to and teaching others as you are diving deep into our products and learning new technologies. You will work closely with our broader marketing, engineering, product management, sales, and customer‑facing teams to conceptualize, build, and launch new hardware that meet the needs of our growing customer base. This includes consultation throughout the build cycle by translating customer and business needs into robust and actionable product specifications. Ahead of launch, co‑develop real‑world testing scenarios that resonate most with customers to validate the product claims and messaging included throughout marketing activations. Post‑launch, you will continue to look for customer‑obsessed product enhancements, continuously adding value to our existing product line. You will look around corners, analyze competitor offerings, and address eero's unique value through sales‑enablement materials designed for key audiences.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Develop a strategic narrative framework for messaging and positioning of eero's hardware product portfolio, individual products, and services that can support our global teams and cross‑lines of business, and bring clarity to prioritization across marketing communications.

  • Gather, analyze, and respond to competitive intelligence, including win/loss analysis, in a timely manner that keeps our customer‑facing teams confident and educated on how to articulate how eero is better and why we're winning (Competitive Landscape).
  • Own pricing strategy and forecasting in partnership with product, sales, finance, and BD teams; conduct business and financial analyses, including forecasting, monitoring, and reporting of key finance, sales, and marketing metrics; contribute to portfolio planning, program forecasting, budgeting, pricing, positioning, and placement optimization; prepare and communicate detailed presentations to eero leadership (Core Hardware Portfolio Management).
  • Serve as a marketing leader throughout the full hardware development lifecycle, interfacing with engineering, product management, and/or program management to drive new product development programs from concept to commercialization (Marketing Lead).
  • Support early hardware roadmap concepts by gathering business and customer product requirements from cross‑functional teams; define strategy (new product needs, product roadmap, customers to target, technology needed, technical support to be deployed) and drive marketing support to sales/customers, aligned with the broader PMM team (Hardware Innovation & Roadmap Planning).
