About company:

You will be officially hired by Renrui Human Resources to join Baidu's autonomous driving

project “Apollo Go” in California. Renrui is Baidu's official workforce partner in the U.S. and

manages your contract, payroll, and HR. You'll work full time within Baidu's U.S. team,

supporting their cutting edge driverless vehicle operations.

Job Responsibilities:

Your main responsibility is to ride inside Baidu's autonomous vehicles and ensure the safety

of the car, passengers, and surrounding traffic. While the vehicle operates in self-driving mode, you will monitor its behavior, record operational data, and take manual control if necessary to ensure safety.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Monitor vehicle behavior and road conditions during autonomous operation;
2. Record system performance, driving logs, and traffic events accurately;
3. Take manual control immediately when safety risks or unexpected events occur
4. Communicate observations and incident details to engineers and safety teams;
5. Conduct simple vehicle checks such as charging, cleaning, and readiness before

each shift;

1. Maintain order and coordinate with customer service or passengers during any

on-site incidents or emergencies.

Requirements:

Valid California driver's license (5+ years);

Clean driving and criminal record (no DUI, no major violations);

Willing to undergo background check;

Willing to work in shifts (day/night);

Basic ability to use phone or tablet for reporting;

Strong attention to safety, reliable, and calm under pressure;

Preferred:

Rideshare, bus, limo or Uber/lyft drivers;

Military veterans, police, or other disciplined service;

Drivers with passenger or commercial transport experience.
