The Opportunity:Reliability & Maintenance Mechanic. Avantor is looking for a Maintenance Technician (First Shift) to install, maintain, and repair manufacturing equipment and fixtures. The Technician conducts basic maintenance activities primarily on machinery and related equipment, maintains repair and maintenance records, and troubleshoots problems and escalates non-routine and complex issues. This position will be located in Carpinteria, CA. How you will thrive and create an impact: Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic equipment, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions. Maintain equipment, parts, and supply inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level.
