Senior Account Manager - Electronic Components
Location: Austin, TX
A leading organization in the electronic component distribution space is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Account Manager to join its dynamic Sales team. This role presents an exceptional opportunity for a results-driven professional to play a key part in driving strategic growth, enhancing client relationships, and contributing meaningfully to the companys market expansion efforts.
Key Responsibilities
Account Management
- Oversee and develop a portfolio of client accounts, acting as the primary point of contact.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality service and support to maintain strong client satisfaction and retention.
- Proactively identify and pursue opportunities to increase revenue within existing accounts.
Sales Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Present tailored product and service solutions that meet clients needs and drive long-term value.
- Collaborate closely with internal departmentsincluding sales, operations, purchasing, and logisticsto ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
Client Engagement
- Maintain consistent communication with clients through calls, emails, and virtual meetings.
- Participate in occasional business travel to conduct in-person meetings and reinforce client partnerships.
Internal Collaboration
- Work in close coordination with the business development team to ensure alignment on sales strategies and initiatives.
- Provide insights and feedback from the market to inform strategic planning and decision-making.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in inside sales, account management, or a related commercial role, preferably within the electronic components industry or a technical B2B environment.
- Demonstrated track record of success in meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using CRM systems and other sales enablement tools.
- Willingness and ability to travel periodically for client engagements.
