Pay Rate/Range: The budgeted salary range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position is $29.35 - $32.91/hr. Salary offers are determined based on final candidate qualifications and experience; the budget for the position; and the application of fair, equitable, and consistent pay practices at the University. The full salary range for this position is $29.35 - $42.06/hr.

Under the supervision of the Academic Personnel and Operations Coordinator, the Communications and Special Events Assistant provides administrative support to the Department Chair and Business Officer. Helps develop the Computer Science department's outreach and communication. Assists in planning and implementing departmental conferences, colloquia and special events including the annual CS Summit and the weekly Theory seminar series. Maintains the department website and social media presence.
