Summary:
The Fitness/Aquatics Specialist leads patrons to fitness classes in the centers' Strength Training room and Pool area.
This position leads residents in fitness and aquatics classes in the fitness room and pool area.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
The duties listed below are essential functions of the position that must be performed to effectively perform the position in at least an acceptable manner as defined by Front Porch. In the future, other duties may be assigned and considered essential functions of the position:
• Conducts aquatic and non-aquatic group exercise classes in a welcoming and nurturing environment for all residents and guests. Provides a range of acceptable activities to meet the various fitness levels of class participants and adheres to appropriate safety guidelines.
• Demonstrates exercises and appropriate use of equipment.
• Document resident attendance and individual fitness progress data as needed.
• Responsible for maintaining class attendance level by Front Porch Community requirements.
• Partners with other staff to help clean equipment and other areas of the facility as needed
• Perform all other related duties as assigned.
