Note on Salary: Assistant Engineer: If certified as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) in the State of California, this position is eligible for a 5% pay differential at each step. Associate Engineer: If registered as a Civil Engineer in the State of California, this position is eligible for a 5% pay differential at each step. Placement may be at either the Associate or Assistant Engineer level, depending on qualifications. This vacancy is within the Transportation and Development Division of Public Works.
