Job Title: Junior Systems Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Systems Engineer to join our team in Santa Barbara, California. As a premier undersea acoustics engineering and manufacturing company, we are focused on supplying advanced SONAR solutions for the US Navy. Our technical expertise, customized design capabilities, and diverse manufacturing abilities have led to our products being deployed in virtually every class of underwater Navy system currently in operation. Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze requirements to develop technical specifications.

• Manage requirements, ensuring compliance traceability and verification.

• Develop algorithms and performance models using MATLAB to support system concept and design definition.

• Engage in systems design and definition activities.

• Present findings and solutions to customers and senior leadership.

Essential Skills

• Master's degree in electrical engineering or a bachelor's degree in EE plus 5 years of experience as a systems engineer.

• Excellent analytical skills.

• Experience in developing computer-based performance models in MATLAB.

• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• must be eligible to pass a drug test

• Ability to obtain a DoD security clearance.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $180000.00/yr.
