Automotive Service Advisor - Job Summary

As an Automotive Service Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, helping them navigate their automotive needs. Your role will involve identifying vehicle issues, gathering information about service coverage, and drafting repair orders. Excellent customer communication is key to understanding the customer's problem and ensuring they are informed throughout the service process.

Essential Duties

• Listen to customers descriptions of vehicle issues to accurately identify problems.
• Perform inspections to diagnose potential causes of issues.
• Verify warranty, insurance, or contract coverage for service.
• Calculate and provide estimates for repair costs.
• Communicate the repair process and expected timelines to clients.
• Record visit details in our database for accurate service tracking.
• Draft detailed repair orders from gathered information.
• Collaborate with supervisors, technicians, and team members to resolve client issues efficiently.

Qualifications

• Great customer service skills and a passion for helping others.
• Some knowledge of CDK software is preferred.
• Sales experience is a plus.
• Strong math and writing skills.
• Commitment to quality work and customer satisfaction.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of Chrysler-Jeep-Dodge-Ram (CDJR) vehicles is a must.
