Job Opportunity: Full Charge Bookkeeper in Santa Barbara

Pay: Starting at $35/hour (based on experience) Schedule: Full-Time (Monday–Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm) Location: In-office | Downtown Santa Barbara | Free Parking

Are you a detail-oriented professional seeking a full-time, in-office position as a Full Charge Bookkeeper? Please note that we are currently accepting applicants from the Santa Barbara, California area.

Responsibilities:

As a Full Charge Bookkeeper, you will play a vital role in managing the accounting needs of our business. You will work both independently and collaboratively within a team, ensuring accurate financial records and efficient bookkeeping practices. Prior experience in the insurance industry is not required.

Requirements:

· Minimum of 4 years of bookkeeping experience

· Preferred: 2 years of college education

· Proficiency in QuickBooks

· Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel

· Maintaining financial records and ensuring compliance

· Ability to handle accounts payable/receivable tasks

· Skill in balancing checkbooks

· Payroll submission to payroll processor

· Experience in generating accurate financial statements

· Submission of annual tax accounting to CPA for income tax preparation

Additional Skills:

· Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and solve problems efficiently

· Proficient in time management and multitasking

· Excellent interpersonal communication skills for teamwork
