Job Description

THE OPPORTUNITY

The Associate Document Control Representative reports to the Document Control Supervisor and supports the greater Quality Systems organization through entry-level administrative tasks, such as: review of controlled documentation, generation of reports, data entry and filing. Employee will be the primary team member responsible for maintenance and archival of quality-controlled files and assist in minimizing backlog. Employee will provide Document Control support through collaboration, organization and being a team player.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

  • EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D)
  • CERTIFICATIONS: N/A
  • EXPERIENCE: Entry Level 1-3 years, Administrative Office work

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS NECESSARY TO PERFORM THE JOB COMPETENTLY:

  • Verbal and written communication
  • Critical thinking skills
  • Math and computer skills
  • Ability to read and write in English
  • Must be detail-oriented, and work well under moderate supervision
  • Communicate professionally with various employee levels and departments
  • The employee is regularly required to maintain a pleasant and professional manner with coworkers and concentrate on work while surrounded by distractions.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)

HOW YOU WILL THRIVE AND CREATE AN IMPACT:

  • Responsible for physical maintenance of documentation including copying, scanning, filing and archiving in storage areas.
  • Reviews and maintains controlled quality documentation for the department.
  • Responsible for electronic data entry as well as updating Quality Assurance forms.
  • Edits and updates various document control procedures and policies as needed.
  • Assists in managing department email and distributing to team.
  • Manages miscellaneous document control related administrative tasks as determined by Supervisor.
  • Responsible for maintaining quality within the scope of the job description.
  • Must be able to lift/carry boxes up to 50 lbs. on a regular/daily basis and perform filing duties throughout the day, sometimes in a non-climate-controlled area.
