Under direct supervision, performs a variety of manual tasks in support of library services. CLASS CHARACTERISTICS - Library Page is the entry-level class in the library support series. Initially under close supervision, incumbents perform a variety of routine manual support tasks. The Library Page helps to provide public access to library materials by ensuring that all library materials are readily available in an organized and accurate order. This class is distinguished from Library Assistant I in that the latter independently performs related entry-level clerical and circulation duties in support of library services. This is a non-benefited, non-career at-will classification. Persons appointed to positions in this classification will be classified as temporary, at-will employees, and will not gain property rights or have an expectation of continued employment.
