The City of Santa Barbara Public Works Department is seeking a motivated Administrative Assistant, in the Operations division, supporting the Fleet and Facilities Maintenance programs. The Administrative Assistant performs a wide variety of highly responsible and complex duties; researches and compiles supportive materials for documents and reports, composes memos and letters with minimal direction or supervision; reviews Council Agenda Reports, staff reports, documents, memos and letters for proper format, grammar, punctuation, and spelling. This position is responsible for the processing of various purchasing and accounting documents, including purchase orders and invoices.
