Role: Project Manager — Business Operations Location: Martinez, CA (3 days onsite) Duration: 6 Months Contract to Hire
Summary: The Client is seeking a Project Manager to lead key business operations initiatives within the Client's Regional Medical Center and Clinics Division (CCRMC), including the Medical Staffing Office (MSO) Transformation and Patient Access Improvement projects. The Project Manager will drive cross-functional execution, coordinate progress toward key outcomes (such as Third Next Available Appointment (TNAA) reduction and MSO modernization), and ensure alignment across operational and technical teams.
Must Have:
Direct project management in a clinical setting
Experience with healthcare quality improvement initiatives
Stakeholder collaboration in operational settings
Use of PM tools in healthcare transformation
Comfort navigating unionized/complex public health systems
Key Responsibilities:
Manage project plans, timelines, deliverables, and risks.
Coordinate with operational leads, clinical leadership, Quality department, Change Management, Business Intelligence, and IT teams.
Facilitate progress reporting and executive updates.
Drive effective cross-functional collaboration and decision-making.
Maintain project documentation and track performance metrics.
Utilize organizational tools and process developed by Office of Strategic Initiatives
Coordinate project meetings including setting meeting agenda, notes and action items
Monitor project impact, track, and report results on clinical quality and patient experience metrics
Qualifications:
Bachelor's required; Master's in Nursing, Behavioral Science, Public Health, or related field preferred
4+ years PM/analyst experience in healthcare, including &Client;2 yrs performing quality measurement or quality improvement activities
