Position Summary:

We're looking for a strategic, data-driven leader to shape and elevate marketing analytics and customer strategy for our lifestyle brands. This role is critical in transforming how we use data to drive growth—unlocking insights that power smarter customer segmentation, predictive modeling, and cross-channel marketing performance. You'll help turn white space into opportunity, driving clarity and measurable impact across marketing and product strategies.

This position reports directly to the Chief Marketing Officer.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Insights & Strategy:

  • Lead customer segmentation, predictive modeling, and audience targeting to improve engagement and ROI across marketing and sales channels.
  • Own the development of customer file health reporting and long-range customer forecasts.
  • Establish and track a marketing testing agenda, including A/B testing and outcome evaluation for scale.
  • Drive customer strategy supported by market research and insights to identify opportunities for new channels, products, and experiences.
  • Marketing Analytics & Attribution:
  • Develop and validate marketing attribution methodologies in partnership with third-party providers.
  • Deliver actionable marketing insights that influence targeting, media spend, product assortment, and messaging strategies.
  • Apply econometric modeling and other advanced analytics approaches to unlock cross-functional business value.
  • Leverage platforms such as R, SQL, SAS, Excel, Tableau, and Google BigQuery to analyze, visualize, and report key insights.
  • Partner in the development of reporting automation and data integration efforts across marketing, product, and finance teams.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of a new customer database/CDP to accelerate personalization and targeting strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, product, and executive stakeholders to drive adoption of insights and shape go-to-market decisions.
  • Manage third-party vendors and partners to support the development and execution of the customer analytics roadmap.
  • Promote a data-informed culture and serve as a thought leader in how analytics can unlock competitive advantage.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent background in Data Science, Marketing, Economics, Statistics, or Business required, Masters Degree preferred
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or customer strategy roles, preferably in a direct-to-consumer or omnichannel environment.
  • Technical System: Strong command of tools such as R, SQL, SAS, Excel, Tableau, and experience working across a modern tech stack (e.g., CDPs, GA4, Klaviyo, BigCommerce, ad platforms).
  • Ability to translate complex data into actionable business strategies and effectively communicate them to senior leadership.
  • Experience designing and implementing machine learning models and predictive algorithms for marketing and product use cases.
  • Demonstrated success using A/B testing, attribution modeling, and forecasting to influence growth strategies.
  • Curious, collaborative, and comfortable operating in ambiguity with a solutions-oriented mindset.

Compensation is based on a variety of factors, candidate experience, qualifications, location as well as market and business considerations.

Pay Salary Range: $140k - $160k
