Drives to jail or other locations to pick up prepared food for the Santa Maria Juvenile Center (JJC); loads food containers in vehicle; receives bulk meals delivered to the JJC; unloads food containers at the JJC; and refrigerates or places food containers in steam tables to maintain temperature. Prepares for serving meal in dining room; determines number to be served; counts and puts out silverware for number to be served; portions out food onto food trays; checks special dietary food trays for ordered requirements; sets up and clears tables in the dining room; counts silverware at end of meal; prepares and loads food trays for youth without dining room privileges.
