This position is for an on-call Armed Residential Security Team Agent. This position is tasked with numerous functions by providing support to a protective security detail in Santa Barbara, CA. This detail operates in a dynamic, multi-faceted, and fast paced environment. Below is an abbreviated list of the functions and responsibilities:DutiesDuties for this detail include, but are not limited to:Ensure a safe and secure environment for principals in all settingsMaintain a knowledge of baseline principal, property and neighborhood activitiesMonitor property and area activities and conditions via closed-circuit television camera system and physical area checksMonitor traditional and social media for potential threatsDrive or tail principal/s, family member, guestsConduct advance work as neededScreen and track mail and deliveriesMonitor the following:○Weather and natural disasters○Public safety incidents and trends○Neighborhood watch programs○Local and national current eventsCoordinate with site staff to accomplish common tasksComplete daily household tasks and maintenance as requested by principalsEnsures 24/7 operational readiness through stocking supplies and equipment upkeepOperate within parameters established by standard operating procedures and applicable lawsCoordinate with and support executive protection element of the teamPosition Qualifications2-4+ years of combined experience in relevant security, military, and/or law enforcement positionsValid Driver License with clean driving recordCalifornia BSIS Exposed Firearm Permit with 9mm endorsementCPR/AED/BLS certification through reputable institutionPassport*All certifications must be current.
