EAG Laboratories, part of the Eurofins network, is a global leader in advanced microscopy, surface analysis, and semiconductor testing services, working with materials from synthetic biomaterials to nanotechnology. Our laboratories support companies throughout the product lifecycle, from R&D to manufacturing.

We are seeking a Laboratory Analyst to join our Syracuse, NY lab. The role involves prepping and analyzing solid samples using ICP-MS and/or ICP-OES, troubleshooting processes and equipment, and adhering to ISO 27001 standards and company information security policies.

This position requires compliance with ITAR regulations; all applicants must be U.S. Persons as defined by ITAR.

Work Schedule: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in materials science or related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in sample preparation and analytical instrument operation.
• Ability to cut metals and grind materials using various tools.
• Experience with testing instruments such as microscopes, GDMS, ICP-OES, ICP-MS.
• Ability to manage projects independently, prioritize tasks, and work effectively with others.
• Strong communication skills, professionalism, and commitment to safety.
• Customer support skills and a desire for continuous learning and growth.

Physical and Ability Requirements

• Ability to remain stationary for long periods and operate lab equipment and computers.
• Ability to communicate clearly and handle small, fragile devices.
• Visual acuity and willingness to wear PPE.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and move equipment as needed.

Additional Information

Compensation Range: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
