Job Summary

Responsible for the financial management of Housing, Dining & Auxiliary Enterprises (HDAE) Auxiliary Services, including budget management, financial reporting, forecasting, and compliance. Collaborates with leadership to establish goals, manage resources, and ensure internal controls. Reports directly to the Sr Executive Director, Auxiliary Services.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • 4-6 years experience in budgeting and financial forecasting
  • 4-6 years experience with accounting and financial procedures
  • 1-3 years supervisory experience
  • Advanced knowledge of financial systems, policies, and compliance
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with UC's financial policies and systems (UC Path, KRONOS, etc.)

Additional Requirements

  • Satisfactory criminal background check
  • Compliance with UC Vaccination Policies

Key Responsibilities

  1. Financial Management (30%): Oversee all financial activities, budgets, and projections for Auxiliary Services.
  2. Leadership & Supervision (30%): Supervise staff, foster a positive work environment, and ensure team development.
  3. Financial Administration (20%): Collaborate on operational management, policy implementation, and strategic planning.
  4. Analysis & Policy Development (20%): Serve as an authority on policies, interpret regulations, and advise leadership.
