Overview

National janitorial cleaning company is looking for reliable people to provide commercial cleaning in shopping malls and major retail department stores. Pleasant, drug-free work environment. EOE. Background check required. Must be at least 18 years of age to apply, have reliable transportation, and be willing to work weekends.

Job Responsibilities

1. Works as a member of the housekeeping team cleaning shopping malls or department stores under the direction of a local Site Manager. Works independently and as part of a team. Performs tasks such as cleaning entrances, restrooms, floors, food courts, and break rooms, including dusting, wiping, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and operating cleaning machines.
2. May operate pressure washers to clean sidewalks and entrance areas, using proper safety precautions and protective equipment.
3. Performs tasks during mall/store open hours such as patrolling for hazards, cleaning spills, wiping down furniture, and restocking restrooms. Cleans and maintains food court areas, including trays and tables.
4. Uses various cleaning equipment and chemicals to accomplish daily tasks.
5. Performs other cleaning duties as assigned.
