The Finished Production (FP) Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations in the production areas. Including but not limited to reviewing pending orders for the day, organizing employee assignments, coordination of finished products, reviewing/managing inventory, maintaining workplace safety, and scheduling employees in accordance with business needs and management approval. This position requires the ability to manage multiple project timelines simultaneously, write accurate specifications, follow protocols, and deliver results/reports in a timely manner. The FP Supervisor is also responsible for completing non-conforming reports (NCRs), managing and supporting CAPAs, and must be proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Leads FP-related activities that may require coordination with other departments. Determines and develops approaches to assignments. Solves a broad range of problems of varying scope and complexity.

  • Evaluates assignments and determines actions required to meet objectives. Tasks may involve analysis and determination of approach to meet requirements.

  • Solves complex problems (inter-related, multiple variables) requiring breadth/depth of knowledge of work area processes, procedures, objectives, plans. Works across multiple functional areas (e.g., QC, QA, Procurement, Logistics, Finance, etc.).

  • Stop production authority if a nonconformance is suspected.

  • Interact and communicate with internal departments and upper management where appropriate to meet objectives assigned by the Production Manager.

  • Managing and communicating the Production Schedule both internally to Finished Production and externally to upstream and downstream cross-functional areas.

  • Manages and leads a team by coaching employees and handling personnel issues. Appraising job results, coordinating necessary trainings, completing injury reports, and enforcing company policies. Reviewing/approving timecards, managing FTO requests, coordinating breaks/lunches, and onboarding new hires for both full-time and temporary staff.

  • Actively coordinates resource needs across all work areas in FP to best execute the daily schedule. Manages cross-training to ensure necessary flexibility across the department.

  • Objectives include meeting and/or exceeding financial, quality, delivery, product yield, EHS compliance, and scrap goals for the operation. Reports on key metrics and responds to deviations from target.

  • Monitor all production orders through our ERP (SAP) system. Perform physical and systematic counts of inventory in all assigned sections of the production area; communicate issues to production support team members.

  • Complete and manage department NCRs and DEVs as required. Lead or support CAPAs when assigned. Provide updates in crossover meetings, morning update meetings, and the production schedule meeting.

  • Access and utilize data and documentation from the QMS site, QA Scanning site, Agile, and the Enterprise Resource Planning System (ERP).

  • Lead, participate in, and support continuous improvement and digital innovation efforts.

  • Ensures a clean and safe workplace while driving a customer and quality-focused culture.

Qualifications
  • Associate Degree and/or equivalent experience, or combination of education and experience.

  • 3+ years' experience leading in a regulated manufacturing environment.

  • Skills pertaining to leadership and/or people management (e.g., goal setting, performance management, and people development).

  • Experience completing non-conforming reports (NCRs), supporting CAPAs, and utilizing Microsoft Office tools-especially Excel-for operational and reporting tasks.

  • Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications for scheduling, reporting, and data tracking.

This job has a full time weekly schedule. Applications for this job will be accepted until at least May 21, 2025 or until the job is no longer posted.The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $86,456.00 - $135,088.00/yr plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
