What You Can Expect

The Project Developer supports pre-construction activities for renewable energy projects across the US and Canada, including permitting, stakeholder engagement, environmental assessments, and project financing due diligence.

Collaborates with land, greenfield, interconnection, engineering, and project delivery teams to meet renewable energy goals for wind, solar, and storage projects.

  • Support Development Activities: Manage development from feasibility to construction, including environmental assessments, permitting, interconnection, land acquisition, and design.
  • Collaborate with Experts: Work with land, interconnection, pre-construction, engineering, and delivery teams.
  • Engage Stakeholders: Communicate with consultants, landowners, and attend public hearings.
  • Research and Compliance: Keep updated on industry trends, manage permits, and interact with agencies.
  • Financial Support: Develop project models, support financing, M&A discussions, and maintain project tracking databases.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental, Business, Finance, Energy, Economics, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in renewable energy or project development.
  • Project management skills with multitasking ability.
  • Strong relationships with public officials and agencies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work with dispersed teams.

Additional Details

  • Hybrid work policy eligible.
  • Travel up to 30%, including overnight trips.
  • Willing to comply with ENGIE's ethics and safety policies.

Compensation

Salary range: $86,100 - $132,020 USD annually, plus bonus/incentives. Benefits include health, retirement plans, paid time off, and family support programs.
