This position is an opportunity to join the international innovation firm HWKN Architecture, where you will contribute to some of the most ambitious design projects currently underway in North America, Europe, and the Middle East.

HWKN Architecture is seeking an Architectural ProfessionalI who thrives in a high‑energy, design‑driven studio and is eager to work with our cutting‑edge, AI‑enabled design methodology. You will contribute to projects from concept through design development, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams that value innovation and rigorous design thinking

Responsibilities:

  • Support project teams through concept, schematic, and design‑development phases, ensuring design quality at every step.
  • Produce drawings, diagrams, and presentation materials using Rhino, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Engage with HWKN's AI‑driven tools to explore design options, streamline workflows, and enhance project outcomes.
  • Coordinate with senior staff, consultants, and clients, maintaining clear communication and meticulous documentation.
  • Manage tasks and deadlines efficiently within a fast‑paced studio environment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in architecture.
  • Minimum of three years' experience on architectural projects, with emphasis on concept through design development.
  • Fluency in Rhino, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Demonstrated hands‑on experience with AI‑based image generation tools (e.g., Midjourney) applied to architectural or design explorations.
  • Strong design sensibility, visualization skills, and clear written and verbal communication.
  • Experience across a range of scales, from residential units to large buildings.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, demonstrating excellent organization and attention to detail.
  • Current (or imminent) residence in New York City and authorization to work in the United States

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Full-time, non-exempt employment
  • Salary range: $65,000 – $75,000, commensurate with experience
  • Hybrid work flexibility in accordance with office policy
  • Compensation commensurate with skills and experience
