DIR is seeking a dynamic, motivated individual to join the Office of the Director. Under the supervision of the Chief Deputy Director, the Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA) will support various functions of the Office, focusing on project management and research. The AGPA may also participate in special projects to meet departmental objectives.

Located in the Junipero Serra Building, the incumbent works 40 hours per week. The role requires prolonged sitting, working at a computer for extended periods, and safely moving office items.

The Department of Industrial Relations (DIR), established in 1927, aims to improve working conditions for California's wage earners and promote employment opportunities. It enforces laws related to wages, safety, health, training programs, and benefits for injured workers.
