We're seeking a Senior Product Manager - Technical to join us in sunny Santa Barbara and help shape the future. As a Product Manager, you will identify and execute opportunities to make Alexa the world's best personal assistant.

Key job responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  1. Lead the development and implementation of high-quality product roadmaps based on product strategy and vision.
  2. Assume end-to-end responsibility for the strategic value, usability, and performance of our products.
  3. Manage prioritization and trade-offs among customer experience, scope, and time to market.
  4. Work closely with engineering teams, design, and business development stakeholders to deliver products to market.
  5. Proactively identify and resolve strategic issues to help the team meet business, financial, and technical goals.
  6. Manage product planning and development through collaboration with a cross-functional team including engineers, designers, and business partners.
  7. Develop detailed user stories with acceptance criteria based on customer needs and business requirements.
  8. Collaborate with UX Research to design usability and research studies to inform product design.
  9. Define and analyze metrics to measure product success.
  10. Drive product launches, coordinating with marketing, customers, and executives.
  11. Participate in optimizing and improving processes between product, design, and engineering teams.

About the team

The AGI Local Information team focuses on technology and local insights, aiming to develop a comprehensive, intuitive, and locally-aware assistant that enriches everyday experiences by transforming how people discover points of interest, local events, and data.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in product or program management, marketing, business development, or technology.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience with feature delivery and trade-offs.
  • Experience owning and defining roadmaps.
  • Experience with end-to-end product delivery.
  • Experience in engineering discussions related to technology decisions.
  • Experience managing technical products or online services.
  • Strong communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with analytical tools like Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight.
  • Experience bridging technical and business teams.
  • Experience owning feature delivery and trade-offs.

Our compensation varies by geographic market, with base pay ranging from $136,100 to $235,200 annually, depending on location, skills, and experience.
