EvansHardy+Young, Inc. is an integrated marketing services firm that provides advertising creative, media buying, social media, digital and public relations for well-respected regional and national client accounts.

We're seeking a Social Media Coordinator with a minimum 2+ years of professional experience to support and grow the online presence of key client accounts. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, creative, and proactive—with a deep understanding of how social platforms work, how consumers engage with branded content, and how to build brand love online.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Manage the day-to-day execution of social media programs for multiple client accounts
  2. Build and maintain social content calendars, schedule posts, and manage communities across platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, and X
  3. Develop engaging, on-brand content—written, visual, and video—in collaboration with the Creative team
  4. Monitor, moderate and engage in social conversations to foster community and elevate brand presence
  5. Track campaign performance, analyze KPIs, and identify insights to improve results
  6. Assist in the planning, execution, and reporting of paid social campaigns, including budget tracking
  7. Support the development of social strategies, content plans, and influencer marketing initiatives
  8. Create monthly and quarterly analytics reports summarizing key performance trends and optimization opportunities
  9. Stay on top of cultural moments, viral content, and platform updates to create timely, relevant content
  10. Lead internal photo shoot coordination, including pre-production planning and day-of support

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field
  2. Minimum 2 years of professional experience managing social media for brands (in-house or agency)
  3. Strong understanding of major platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, X), including best practices, algorithms and audience behaviors
  4. Excellent written, visual and verbal communication skills
  5. Experience creating content and using publishing tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Later, Sprout Social, Meta Business Suite, Canva, CapCut)
  6. Ability to manage multiple accounts, timelines, and priorities with attention to detail
  7. Strong analytical skills and experience with social reporting and insights tools
  8. Passionate about internet culture, storytelling and creating connections through Interest in the food, lifestyle, or CPG categories a plus

This position will require a full-time presence in our downtown Santa Barbara headquarters. No relocation package will be provided.
