Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Valuation Analyst to join our valuation team. The successful candidate will assist in conducting desk reviews and support the overall valuation process. While a license is not required, a solid understanding of residential real estate valuation is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist in performing desk reviews of residential property valuations.
2. Collect and analyze data pertinent to property assessments.
3. Support the preparation of comprehensive valuation reports.
4. Maintain and update valuation databases and records.
5. Collaborate with senior analysts to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
6. Stay informed about current market trends and valuation methodologies.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in real estate, finance, economics, or a related field; experience in the real estate industry may suffice.
2. Fundamental knowledge of residential real estate valuation processes.
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
4. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
5. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
6. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Previous experience in real estate analysis or a related role.
2. Familiarity with valuation software and tools.
3. Understanding of local real estate markets, particularly in California.
