Base pay range

$65,000.00/yr - $70,000.00/yr

As a leader in the industry, our client is known for its innovative approach to entertainment. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Staff Accountant to join a dynamic accounting team and grow their career with a world-renowned organization.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Handle full-cycle accounts payable, ensuring accurate and timely invoice processing.
2. Communicate with vendors to resolve billing discrepancies and maintain adherence to payment terms.
3. Reconcile accounts payable sub-ledger accounts to the general ledger, addressing any discrepancies.
4. Prepare and post adjusting journal entries, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and proper documentation.
5. Support month-end close activities by preparing entries and reconciliations.
6. Review and process employee expense reports, verifying compliance with company policies and coding accuracy.
7. Oversee the reimbursement process to ensure timely and accurate payments to employees.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related Business field.
2. Minimum of 1.5 years of accounting experience.
3. Proficiency in Excel, including advanced functions such as VLOOKUPs and pivot tables.
4. Strong communication and presentation skills, with attention to detail and organizational abilities.
