This position should be based in a major city of California (ideally Los Angeles, San Jose, etc) with the ability to frequently travel and commute to anywhere within California and other areas of the West region.
The Regional People Business Partner role is primarily responsible for participating in the development, interpretation, and execution of company policies and procedures, providing coaching services on performance management, employee relations, succession and goal planning processes, leadership development and crisis management within a designated department of JD Finish Line. This individual will effectively exhibit JD Finish Line's core values of Customer, People, Winning, Community and Financial Responsibility in everything they do by performing the following key duties:
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; or 1 – 2 year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. At least 2-4 or more years additional experience as a Human Resource Generalist or equivalent. PHR and/or SPHR certification preferred.
Should have basic to intermediate knowledge and abilities with Google platforms, Excel and Access as well as a basic understanding of functions and relationships of information in Workday/Ceridian system and ERMS software.
