Position: Network Engineer

Location: Los Angeles, CA – On-site

Position Type: Contract

Must Have: Active CCNP certificate

Candidate must be within a 35-mile radius of Los Angeles, CA 90017.

Requirements:

Cisco CCNP certificate is required. – Mandate

1. Manages the design, installation, and configuration activities of lower-level technicians, engineers, and contractors.
2. Acts in a lead capacity installing, configuring, and troubleshooting local area networks, wireless networks, VoIP systems, IP Public Address/Intercom, and IP Video Camera systems.
3. Analyzes and solves complex networking problems.
4. Reviews and evaluates IT system designs for compliance with industry standards and District specifications.
5. Evaluates new technologies and products and assists in the development of new standards and specifications.
6. Formulates and expresses ideas clearly and effectively in writing and orally.
7. Sets priorities and successfully completes tasks in a timely manner.

• Conduct site surveys and develop scopes of work.
• Create bill of material and asset workbooks.
• Accept equipment deliveries at warehouse.
• Generate e-mails of status completions.
• Install and troubleshoot various converged network equipment.
