Senior Financial Analyst

Description:

We are seeking a self-motivated Senior Financial Analyst to be a key member of our organization. Reporting to the Senior Director of FP&A, this role will be responsible for performing financial modeling & business decision analyses, partnering with internal stakeholders, preparing the financial budgets and forecasts, as well as communicating financial information to the executive leadership team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting package for executive leadership team and shareholders
  • Understand and communicate actual vs budget P&Ls to budget owners on a monthly basis; identify and investigate material variances; recommend appropriate course of actions to help achieve the financial targets
  • Assist the Department Head in managing and improving the annual budgeting process, working closely with department leaders to set realistic financial targets that are aligned with the organizational goals
  • Manage and improve bi-weekly cash projection
  • Create reports using BI tools such as Power BI and partner with the Digital Product team on improving data marts used for financial KPI reporting
  • Track, analyze, and report on internal KPIs to measure performance of various teams
  • Report on sales pipeline and forecasts
  • Calculate periodic sales commissions and annual bonuses
  • Create ad-hoc reports and financial modeling on as-needed basis
  • Work closely with the Accounting team to drive and enhance synergies between the two functions

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
  • 5+ years of relevant Finance experience.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple projects with tight deadlines.
  • Experience with 3-statement modeling
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with QuickBooks Online and Power BI a plus
$95,000 - $110,000 a year
Performance Bonus: 10% of base salary
Competitive PTO, 401k matching
