Job Summary:

We're seeking a type-A, hard working, focused, and organized individual to serve as a Production Manager & Director's Assistant. This hybrid role requires someone with strong self-motivation, organization, and administrative skills who can manage a substantial post-production delivery workflow to streamers, an ongoing post workflow, a post-production team and occasional production film shoots, all while supporting the director's operational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Management:

  • Oversee post-production delivery paperwork and ensure every “T” is crossed and “I” is dotted according to strict streamer paperwork rules and guidelines.
  • Make phone calls (not texts :), to get paperwork signed, move delivery along, and move production and post production along.
  • Oversee post-production teamwork and ensure that deadlines are being met, post schedules are kept and communication is flowing between directors and post team.
  • Manage occasional film shoots including crew travel, permits, releases, schedules, and office needs.

Director's Assistant:

  • Provide administrative support, including calendar management, meeting preparation, and correspondence.

  • Act as a liaison between the director, crew, and external partners.

  • Work with property management to ensure the needs of the property are met.
  • Anticipate the director's needs and proactively resolve potential challenges.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in POST production is a huge bonus
  • Previous experience in project management, or a related field is helpful.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with a keen eye for detail.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficiency in production software and tools (e.g., MM Budgeting, MS Word, MS Excel, Google Workspace).
  • A flexible, problem-solving mindset and ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
