Job Title: Locum Tenens Physician
Job Specialty: Family Medicine, Internal Medicine
Job Duration: 13 weeks (Starting 01/27/2025 - Ongoing)
Shift: Day - Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm (5x8)
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Experience: APCs with 3 years of experience in a similar setting
License: Must have an active DEA before the start date. PAs must have a CA Controlled Substance Education Course Certificate, and NPs must have a Furnishing License with Schedules II.
Certifications: BLS required
Must-Have:
- Credentialing takes 30-90 days
- Board Certification required
- Immunizations required: Flu Vaccine for 2022-2023, TB Status/X-Ray Results, Positive MMR Titer or Complete Immunization Series, Positive Hep B Titer or Complete Immunization Series, Positive Varicella Zoster Titer or Complete Immunization Series, Tdap Immunization
Job Description:
- Candidate CVs must include month and date on their work experience with all employment gaps accounted for.
- Chart closures must be completed within 72 hours.
- Schedule involves treating 18 patients per day (minimum).
- Mix of pediatric and adult patients.
- Facility decision typically made within 7-14 days.
- Requires specialty skills, including family medicine, gynecology, well-woman care, and IUD insertion/removal.
- Pediatric care preferred: newborn (birth-30 days), infant (30 days - 1 year), toddler (1-2 years), child (3-13 years), and adolescent (13-18 years).
- General outpatient care preferred.
