If you're ready to go toe to toe with some of the biggest manufacturers in touring cars, we want you on our team. We are an independent car builder specializing in BMW touring cars providing a cost effective and refined product that meets and exceeds the quality of the major OEM's.


Our B46 Race Program incorporates the best of large scale manufacturing with the flexibility of independent manufacturing. We're looking for one key person to head up the disassembly and assembly phase of this project. This position combines your love of working with your hands with career advancement in a leadership role. As an expert in this phase of the process, your position will expand with the growth of this project. This position is an exciting opportunity to use the automotive knowledge you've developed, move up from normal service and repair work, and to ‘own' this part of the process.

Qualities and Skills:

  • Thorough understanding of automotive electrical, hydraulic, fluid and mechanical systems
  • Mature automotive repair/assembly skills
  • Excellent skills with hand tools as well as power tools for cutting and grinding
  • Prior knowledge and experience in motorsports is preferred
  • Strong aptitude toward organization and planning
  • Ability to work through long term projects with multi-tier assembly process.
  • Computer literacy as necessary to effectively interact with software utilized to track parts and assembly
  • Ability to be task and goal oriented; capable of completing task while keeping the larger goals of the project in mind
  • Able to communicate with other department heads and developers
  • Ability to think critically and notice inefficiencies or problems in the current processes and help improve upon them
  • Must enter this roll with the intention of becoming the ‘expert' in this phase of the project



Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for disassembly and assembly work, oversight and execution
  • Manage organization within the department
  • Communicate with department heads such as Engineering and Parts and project manager to keep the process moving
  • Delegate sub tasks to subordinates such as cleaning of parts and organization
  • Perform service and maintenance on already built B46s when they come back from the track


General B46 Build Work Flow

  • Bring donor car into shop and perform thorough inspection
  • Disassemble Donor car according to process guidelines.
  • Organize and catalog all parts that are to be reused and work with subordinates to trash or sell parts that will not be used
  • Hand off chassis to the fab department
  • Build out subassemblies such as the Subframes, Suspension, Powertrain, Bumper Assembly etc.
  • Receive car when it comes back from paint, install wiring looms, safety equipment, interior, subassemblies.
  • Help test all components, align and corner balance and do final QC.
