Title: Warehouse Worker Work Location: Port Coquitlam (Kebet Way) ****Position Purpose:****

We are looking to add a Warehouse Worker to our growing team in Port Coquitlam! The Warehouse Worker will ensure all containers of medical waste are unloaded from vehicles, the vehicles are cleaned in adherence to safety standards and the containers are properly staged for scanning and processing. The individual will perform the duties in a safe and productive manner.

****Key Job Activities:****

Unload medical waste containers from incoming vehicles

Stage medical waste containers on conveyor and properly stack containers for scanning

Scan containers into internal system for proper recordkeeping purposes

Load bins or hopper with waste for processing

Place reusable containers on tub wash line to follow proper cleaning protocol

Operates container wash unit ensuring the wash unit is operating properly and removes clean containers from wash unit, inspects containers and stacks for loading onto assigned vehicle for reuse

Reloads assigned reusable containers and ensures cargo-carrying portion of vehicle does not have free liquid on the floor. Informs plant supervisor the vehicle is ready to be moved from dock area

Ensures housekeeping issues, e.g., spills are cleaned up, floor is dry, no debris on the floor, etc., are addressed immediately

Follow all safety policies and procedures required at facility

Arrive on time for daily shift and adhere to attendance policy

Perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned

****Experience****

No experience required, will be trained on site

Willingness to learn and adapt, attention to detail

Ability to communicate effectively and understand and follow health and safety directives

Ability to adhere to all performance and conduct standards, policies and procedures applicable to this position
