Position summary:

Under general supervision, the Mechanical Assembler is responsible for the assembly of product components and parts.

Responsibilities include:

• Construct and assemble electro-mechanical products utilizing a wide variety of hand and power tools.
• Prepare and assemble components to specifications.
• Perform tasks including installing circuit boards, power supplies, face plates, product labels, cables and wire harness using screws and adhesives.
• Perform in-line inspection to ensure parts and assemblies meet production specifications and standards.
• Read and follow reporting documentation/information.

Requirements:

• Two years of experience as an assembler or related position.
• Must be able to effectively handle various objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
• U.S. citizenship or permanent residence is required.

To be successful in this position, the candidate must:

• Be capable of reading drawings, wiring diagrams, parts lists/BOMS etc.
• Have good interpersonal skills and an ability to work in a team environment.
• Have high attention to detail.
• Have the ability to work with minimum supervision.

Salary range: $20-$30 per hour - several factors are considered when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
