A century ago, Calistoga was a town centered around its bubbling natural hot springs and the beautiful weather of the Napa Valley. Today, its a bucket-list destination for ardent wine lovers, foodies and wellness seekers for its particularly enviable version of the good life. Solage was created to reflect its hometown spirit, drawing visitors as well as area vintners who come here after a day in the vineyards to relax over a glass of wine or a craft cocktail and connect.

**Role Summary**

The painter will repair and maintain hotel facilities, equipment, and guest rooms.

**Core Responsibilities**

Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of everything that needs to be done! Within the Auberge family, our people always find new ways to look after the business, their guests, and their teammates. Within this, the key responsivities for this position are:

* Patch and repair drywall

* Paint walls

* Repair and touch up furniture

* Organize and maintain guest room supplies area

* Safely use power and hand tools

* Complete work tickets in a timely manner

* Respond to guest calls

* Assist Engineering staff and other departments by providing lateral service

* Perform all scheduled preventive maintenance in public areas

* Log and communicate all essential information in shop log book

**Physical Demands**

* Ability to regularly lift and/or move 50 pounds of material for transport

* Ability to ascend or descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ropes, poles, using feet and legs and/or arms. Body agility is emphasized

* Ability to crawl on hands and knees or hands and feet

* Ability to bend downward and forward by bending legs and spine

* Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication and to make fine discriminations in sound, such as making fine adjustments on machinery

* Ability to grasp an object with fingers and palm

* Ability to bend legs at knee and come to a rest on knees

* Ability to tilt head back in order to see objects overhead for up to five minutes at a time

* Ability to lift heavy objects from a lower to a higher position
